  1. Hi Kaleb
Well done on your maths work! You said you found it difficult at the beginning but you used perseverance and kept trying, that's amazing! What part did you find the hardest?

  2. Hey Kaleb. I am really impressed by your hard work and I love the fact you have shown all of your workings out again, excellent :) You made it look so easy, it definitely doesn't show that you found it difficult to start with. Is maths your favourite subject, you are really good at it.

  3. Hey Kaleb,
Great work my dude it is so good to see you trying your hardest even though maths is not your favourite subject. Maybe you could think of some ideas so then you can enjoy it more. I love seeing all the hard work you have been putting in everyday. I am proud of you.

  4. Hi Kaleb,
I am blown away by how well you have set out your Maths and the effort you have put into a difficult task! This takes a lot of concentration and I can see that you have really persevered until the end. I think we will be able to count on you to tell us about area and perimeter - you could be the expert!
Now that you have the skills to answer questions given to you, do you think you could come up with 5 questions of your own? Perhaps you could create a slideshow with those 5 questions and they could be Ruru's Maths Hotspot questions when we get back?
Fantastic effort, Kaleb - really proud of you.

  5. Hi Kaleb
Great job sticking to solving those area and perimeter problems especially when the squares didn't even match the numbers correctly, that made it twice as tricky!
It's going to be fun watching the new building being built from Ruru's window. When the builders start pegging out the new perimeter Mrs W might get you to check the measurements are correct?
